Endless Mountains Health Systems observed National Doctors’ Day on March 30, 2016 by recognizing Physicians during a special luncheon at the facility.

The first Doctors’ Day observance was March 30, 1933 in Winder, GA. The idea was originated by Eudora Brown Almond, wife of Dr. Charles B. Almond.   The date was chosen from the anniversary of the first use of general anesthesia in surgery on March 30, 1842. President George H. W. Bush signed legislation on October 30, 1990 designating Doctors’ Day as a national holiday to be celebrated annually on March 30.

EMHS contracted Physicians offer a variety of specialties to meet the needs of their patients. A complete list of Physician services can be found on the EMHS website at www. endlesscare.org.
